High-Five Friday: ¡Cinco de Mayo!

What I'm working on:
LOTS.
We (meaning the missions and communications teams at KBC) turned around a newsletter about India and our justice initiatives there in a month. I had the content written by the third week of April, Omar edited and I revised accordingly last week, the fabulous Heidi Doe designed the thing in what seemed like five minutes, and we went over the whole completed project with a fine-tooth comb on Wednesday. It's ready to print, which is a relief, because we needed to immediately turn our attention to Vacation Bible School, which is positively looming.
Each year the kids that participate raise money for a missions project of some kind, and KBC provides each with a fun, informational package on the place and people their gifts are helping. This year, all funds raised will go to Alex and Laura Waits and Reach Out Honduras — and more specifically, the much-needed addition of a classroom to Instituto Vida Abundante.
We're laying out and completing as much of the pieces for that informational package as possible now, then going to Honduras at the end of the month for a few final touches and to shoot corresponding video and photos for the kids to see throughout VBS week. Did I mention VBS is the third week of June? So like, slightly over a month away? Yeah.
I also finally got the chance to finish — other than some PayPal account issues (that will be resolved shortly) and a video piece we're eagerly waiting to incorporate — Manna House's website! And move them to a new Facebook page! Check them out when you get a chance. Such a sweet ministry.
So that's what all has been going on in my work-world. Crazy but fun. I love what I get to do.
