Remember Snowpocalypse? Yeah.
Forgot to ever post these, but took a few photos on the first day of ~The Great Texas Freeze~ just to have the weirdness of it all documented.
Our house ended up faring pretty well since it’s old and basically gave up and froze solid an hour into it being even slightly cold — my roommates and I split up and bunked with various (generous) family members and friends — but I know more than a few people who are still dealing with fallout and leftover issues from busted pipes and such. Not the state’s finest moment, that’s for sure. But hey. We made it. And now we’re right back on schedule to be roasted alive from April to October, baby. *chef’s kiss*
