Brave

December 16, 2016 by Ryley Rush in Travel

In case you've ever wondered what the face of courage looks like.

I'm fresh off 25ish hours of travel home from my week in Uganda, and my jet-lagged brain is still processing it all. I'll have a full post about the trip up next week, but this I know for sure: the young, single moms I met in Kampala this week are breathtakingly brave, and I'm honored and humbled that I had the chance to look them in the eyes, hold their sweet babies, and hear their stories. It's a privilege to get to be the tiniest part of the help the Comforter's Center provides them. I can't wait to finish redesigning the print and digital marketing assets for the ministry. Hopefully, it will bring even more women through their doors for the support they desperately need.
